In this article, I will elaborate on how can you save few bucks while travelling from Blacktown to Sydney Airport.
We all know that if we go to Sydney airport, we have to pay more travel fare than normal.
A normal journey by train from Blacktown to Sydney airport costs 20.80 AUD per trip via train.
Here is a way to go to Sydney airport in a cheap manner paying less fare.
From Blacktown, take a train to mascot (assuming you will change somewhere at Wynyard or central)
The fare will be 5.06 AUD. Get down at Mascot station and walk 150 metres and take the Route 420 to Sydney Internal airport. Pls see the map below. The bus starts from Coward St Stand B at Mascot.
The fare of this bus travel is 2.24 AUD making the total as 7.30 AUD hence saving one a hefty 13.50 per trip from Blacktown to Sydney Airport. The bus frequency is every 5 to 10 mins and the bus goes all the way to Burwood if that is more convenient to someone than Mascot.
