This Blog Post is about my trip from Sydney to Tamworth NSW and Armidale NSW.
Started in the morning at 5 AM sharp as Tamworth is 4.5 hours from Sydney and Armidale is 1.5 hours further from Tamworth (6 hours from Sydney).
My initial impression of the place was that it will be a sleepy ghost town and I won’t even get anything to eat there hence packed my lunch and ginger tea.
The drive was very pleasant and I reached Tamworth in 4.5 hours. Was astonished to see a hustling and bustling town and never felt that I am outside Sydney.
Some of the main points I noted during my trip from Sydney to Tamworth and Armidale are below: –
Tamworth is divided into South Tamworth, East Tamworth, and West Tamworth.

Going further to Armidale
Next, I sat in a small park near the shopping center and had the food that I packed from home because I assumed that there won’t be any food options in Tamworth.
Continued my journey to Armidale. It took me 1.5 hours to reach Armidale
University of New England in Armidale
One of the major attractions of the Armidale area is the university of new England which sprawls over many acres and generates a lot of employment in the area.

Armidale has a large medical precinct that houses hospitals and other medical-related services.

Coles, Woolworths, Bunnings, Harvey Norman, and K-mart were all there in Armidale
Indian Restaurant in Armidale
After driving and then walking continuously I felt very hungry and searched for Indian restaurants in Armidale. There were several of them in the city. Went to Curry house restaurant and had proper food there along with masala chai.
